Hasmukh is a medical doctor with over 20 years of experience in telecommunications, digitization and entrepreneurship. Hasmukh was the founding chair of .za Domain Name Authority board and led with his co-directors the transition from an informal domain name management in South Africa into a world class domain name regulator.

Nii is known as the ‘Father of the Internet in Africa’. His extensive contributions over 22 years to global coordination for internet system resources, building up network operators and developing internet capacity have resulted in him receiving the 2007 John Postel Service Award from the IETF (Internet Engineering Task Force); 2013 he was entered into the Internet Hall of Fame by the Internet Society; and 2015 ICANN Multistakeholder Ethos Award.

Henk currently holds the position of Chief Operating Officer for Creation Capital Services (Pty) Ltd (www.creation capital.com) a licensed and regulated private credit investment manager based in the Netherlands. He has more than 12 year’s experience in Group Compliance and Risk. He currently serves on several Boards and Audit Committees. He also has a long career with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in The Netherlands where he served as a senior manager.

With over 28 years of experience in telecommunications and local and regional domain name sectors, he has an entrepreneurial spirit and is skilled in corporate management and leadership. He was awarded the AfiCTA Africa Champions Award for his contribution to digitalization through the adoption of the .africa domain name.
